The purpose of the Your Covid Journey (also known as Covid In Memorial) website is to give a voice to each person who has been affected by the COVID-19 global pandemic and to visually show the wide reach and impacts of this disease.

We want to hear and be able to share everyone’s stories…

The stories of loved ones who have passed because of COVID-19.

The stories of long-haulers who are still suffering the effects of Covid.

The stories of frontline medical workers who have been fighting and working endlessly to help people recover and also to be the support of those who are dying.

The stories of essential workers making sure that we all have the food and care we need, even during quarantines and lock downs.

The stories of businesses that have been lost, jobs lost, homes lost, and those who have become food challenged during this time.

The stories of the impacts to school and education for our children.

All of these stories are meaningful and told together in one place can help us to understand and empathize with one another.

As stories are shared on this site, we will have a heatmap showing where in the world all of the stories are coming from, providing a visual representation of the many lives impacted around the globe. You will also be able to filter the map and find stories categories and by geographical area.

We also hope to bring awareness and support to non-profit organizations that are helping in the relief efforts of COVID-19.

This site has no paid staff. Any donations given directly to this site will go solely to the technical maintenance and upkeep of the site. All remaining donations will be donated to non-profit organizations helping in the relief efforts of COVID-19.

A financial summary for this site will be posted quarterly.
